Storage Fusion fires Arrow into UK channel
Storage analytics vendor adds distributor Arrow ECS to its growing UK partner tally
Handover: Arrow ECS will help newcomer Storage Fusion build a UK partner base
Arrow ECS is billing its latest vendor signing as a game-changer in the storage analytics space.
The distributor has inked a UK agreement with Storage Fusion, whose Storage Resource Analysis (SRA) platform is designed to help customers better manage their storage usage and needs.
Arrow ECS claims the deal makes it the first UK distributor to offer a software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution in the storage analytics space. The vendor, which is now part of IBM reseller Avisen following its acquisition of Xploite, already claims to work with a range of UK integrators including Unisys, Computacenter, Affilliated Computer Services and Glasshouse.
SRA is charged on a pay-as-you-go basis and no software installation is necessary, Arrow said.
Steve Pearce, managing director for Arrow ECS in the UK, said: “We believe that SRA is a revolution in the way customers can analyse and evaluate their storage estate.”
Storage Fusion managing director Graham Wood stressed its SRA had already been used across the storage estates of well-known end users such as BGC Partners.
Graham Wood, managing director for Storage Fusion, said: “Storage Fusion developed SRA to provide a simple SaaS solution offering a deep analysis of an organisation’s use of storage.
“Working with a distributor is the ideal way to take this product to the market, and Arrow ECS was the only one we wanted to work with as it is the clear leader in its space.”
