Code Red holds technology day for resellers

Data capture distributor hopes to educate VARs on mobile computing and wireless scanning

Code Red Distribution, a distributor of data capture hardware, is holding a technology day for resellers on 4 October at vendor Datalogic’s conference centre in Hertfordshire.

Aimed barcode and data capture hardware VARs, the event will give attendees an update on the latest mobile computing and wireless scanning products from Datalogic and the latest printing products from Toshiba.

Code Red will also announce a number of new software products for resellers, including the Apache proof of delivery solution, Stockade stock control solution and Cavalry field service software.

Kelvin Smith, managing director of Code Red, said: “Datalogic and Toshiba have recently announced a number of exciting new products that are generating quite a bit of interest from the channel. We felt that holding an event such as this would enable us to give our resellers the chance to find out exactly where these products fit and how best to sell them, giving them competitive advantage and ultimately resulting in more business for all parties involved."
