Miller wants resellers for channel venture
The Former-Trustmarque boss wants VARs for latest channel initiative
Miller: Demand for bank validation services is growing
Former Trustmarque Solutions chief executive Ross Miller is on the hunt for VARs to support his latest channel venture.
Miller, who stepped down from his role at Trustmarque in November 2008, has acted as commercial head of bank validation vendor Unified Software for the past 11 months.
The firm uses cloud-based technology to provide end users with a means of verifying bank details through its solution BankVal.
In the past the company has dealt direct with customers, but wants to establish a reseller channel to enable further growth.
The vendor already has a few resellers on board, said Miller, targeting end users in the financial and not-for-profit sector, but the firm is keen to add more.
He added: “The solution has been sold through the website and customer recommendations, but the demand for these services is growing.”
George Barron, founder of Unified Software, said the fact that cheques were falling out of favour with businesses would stand resellers in good stead.
“This will lead to an increase in transactions conducted via direct debit and more organisations will need to make use of bank validation,” he added.
