Logicalis makes next acquisition
Corporate VAR buys HP storage reseller to strengthen portfolio
Logicalis Group has acquired Berkshire-based Hawke Systems for an undisclosed sum.
Hawke Systems, a Hewlett-Packard Storage Elite partner, has annual turnover of £15m, and is a privately-held company backed by 3i. The firm will help to boost Logicalis’ relationship with HP, and also help it break further into the storage arena, according to Jen Montanana, Logicalis Group chief executive. “It will also add scale to the Logicalis UK business, increasing annualised revenues from over £80m and approximately £100m,” he added in a statement.
Hawke will become the HP-focused division of Logicalis Computing Solutions, although it also has relationships with vendors including Legato, Sun, VMWare and Veritas.
Earlier this year Logicalis bought IBM VAR Notability, and CRN understands that the company is looking to buy another IBM partner later this year.
