Diagonal and Orchard help housing associations

Two firms team up to develop document and records management solution

Integrator Diagonal Solutions has developed a joint document and records management solution with Orchard Information Systems which has recently been adopted by three UK housing associations.

The solution, known as arcFile has been implemented in Eden Housing Association, Dumfries and Galloway Housing Partnership (DGHP) and Corby Borough Council Housing Services.

Simon Forster, sales director at Diagonal said: “ArcFile gives organisations total control over their data, enabling them to track, store, retrieve and dispose of documents and records in a timely and efficient manner. We look forward to working with the new arcFile customers to ensure they achieve the maximum benefit that this integrated solution can offer.”

Ian Johnson, partner manager at Orchard Information Systems said: “We’re delighted that this partnership between Diagonal Solutions and Orchard Information Systems is already proving so effective for Eden, DGHP and Corby.”

A Corby Borough Council representative said: “Prior to using arcFile, housing information such as occupancy levels and rental agreements were held in a separate location to tenant correspondence. Our new system means that tenants can call us with any questions associated with their file and we can access all of the relevant documentation through a single user interface.”
