Veteran Rob Brown to drive Oki managed print

Managed print services section boosted by 15 years of industry experience

Oki's managed services for its multifunction devices are getting the benefit of Brown's long years in sales

Oki has ushered former senior sales manager Rob Brown into the role of UK business manager for managed print services.

Graham Lowes, marketing director at Oki, said the role was an important one.

“We expect the future of business printing to be increasingly driven by a managed service mindset,” he said. “Brown’s extensive experience in business development, sales and marketing, coupled with his skills in identifying opportunities and building relationships at all levels, make him ideally suited to this key new role.”

Brown joined Oki as a senior account manager for sales in 2007. Previously, he was a public sector account manager at Lexmark, business development manager at Epson, channel manager at business supplies firm DES, and business development manager for pro-photography kit at Eastman Kodak.

“I see my role as defining Oki’s managed print offering in the UK and taking responsibility for its core elements, from administration to marketing to logistics,” Brown said.

“Key to success in this sector will be how we engage with customers. We need to listen to their pain points, assess and identify their requirements and provide them with a bespoke solution.”
