Legal boost at InTechnology
Distributor secures five-year contract with law firm
Distributor InTechnology has bolstered its managed service push by securing a five-year contact with law firm Denton Wilde Sapte.
The distributor will provide the legal firm’s data backup and recovery alongside archiving services.
Adam Hurst, northern sales manager at InTechnology, said: “We were already quite well known and recognised in the legal sector. Working with Denton adds to our creditability.”
Matthew Ball, research analyst at Canalys, said: “Managed services is an area that lots of vendors and the channel community are looking into because hardware has become increasingly price pressured.”
Ball added that if InTechnology, which runs its managed services business both direct and through resellers, is providing the same managed services as its resellers, this could lead to some channel conflict.
