Fivemere signs up Logitek for ISDN range

Networking vendor Fivemere has moved into the channel with its appointment of Logitek as the distributor for its ISDN remote access range.

The policy will run alongside the company's direct corporate sales, and use of systems integrators and public carriers.

The Logitek deal will give Fivemere access to 7,000 Vars and dealers and will include its products in Logitek's catalogue and telesales operation.

Logitek will now be the main stockist for the products and will also handle Fivemere's KBU ISDN backup systems.

David Brind, Fivemere commercial director, said: 'We are entering this market sector at a time when ISDN has become accepted as the cost-effective means of internetworking. The products fit well into our channel strategy and give us huge potential for growing sales.'

The move is part of a recognition of the competitive nature of the remote access products market. As a new player, Fivemere believes it has to cover every sector.
