Distributor to carry SanDisk's Cruzer range of encrypted USB flash drives

Ellis: Partnership will give our resellers a competitive edge

Computerlinks has added to its endpoint security line-up by bagging a distribution contract with SanDisk Enterprise.

The partnership will centre on SanDisk’s Cruzer Enterprise range of encrypted USB flash drives, which the distributor claims complements endpoint solutions it already carries such as RSA, Lumension and Citrix.

Computerlinks will host a series of reseller events to kick off the partnership. The first, scheduled for February, will be a demonstration of how Cruzer storage keys integrate with RSA’s two-factor authentication technology. A second event will provide potential partners with a technical overview of the product range.

David Ellis, director of e-security at Computerlinks, said: “In today’s world where information is key, losing data stored on USB drives could prove disastrous for any organisation.

“Partnering with SanDisk and integrating their products with those from vendors such as RSA allows us to give our resellers competitive edge and a fast and effective solution to a very real business problem. The events will provide the first chance for many resellers to see the products in action and discuss their features and benefits first hand.”
