StorCase Technology rises again

Production from the vendor may continue despite it ceasing operations just two weeks ago

Production from Kingston Technology’s former sister storage vendor, StorCase Technology, may continue despite the company shutting up shop two weeks ago.

Earlier this month, CRN revealed that the vendor was to cease operations in the UK and US (CRN, 2 October).

But a StorCase representative told CRN: “Industry partners have expressed an interest in continuing the development and support of our Data Express and Rhino Junior product ranges. Currently, a number of options are being discussed and considered, and more information will be provided once any agreements are made.”

James Ward, managing director of former StorCase distribution partner Hammer, said: “This was a strong area for StoreCase’s business. However, it will still need a lot of further investment and marketing behind it.”
