HP's PC plant

Hewlett Packard has decided to build a desktop PC factory in the Netherlands, rather than Ireland. The company considered locations in Poland and Ireland but chose Heerenveen, Netherlands, for its plant. The project should be completed by around 1999 or 2000. HP plans to spend NFI 60 million and will employ about 1,000 people.
