Compleat Software expands reseller network
E-procurement vendor adds accountancy VAR Angel Technology Services to burgeoning list of channel partners
Robertson: No business advantages to be gained by rushing partner signings
E-procurement vendor Compleat Software has appointed accounting software reseller Angel Technology Services as a channel partner.
The reseller is the third partner the vendor has signed since announcing last November that it wanted to recruit 10 Pegasus resellers by the end of last year.
Neil Robertson, chief executive at Compleat, said the firm had received a lot of interest from prospective channel partners, but did not want to rush the signing process.
“The business opportunity for our partners is exceptional, but we want to make sure we have the right partners on board,” Robertson said. “There are no business advantages to be gained by rushing out and signing all and sundry.”
Angel Technology Services marked itself out straightaway as a “must-sign”, added Robertson, because of its enthusiasm for the firm’s Compleat e-procurement solution.
“Here is a product that is delivering capabilities to SMEs that have previously only been available to large enterprises,” he said.
“Angel Technology Services understood that proposition straight away and has already received a lot of interest, as a result.”
Peter Samuel, managing director at Angel Technology Services, said the firm was already in discussions with five companies interested in implementing the solution.
He added: “Cash is king in a recession and accountancy VARs are seeing a drop in sales, so any product that allows us to keep up our sales momentum is a welcome addition to the portfolio.”
