Hitachi to broaden box programme after pilot
Storage vendor Hitachi Data Systems (HDS) has extended its campaign-in-a-box programme to four more resellers following a successful trial with ANS, Netstore and S3.
The vendor’s new Marketing Bureau is aimed at resellers that lack a marketing department. HDS is offering the kits to partners or as a service whereby the vendor will run the campaign for them.
Jodie Sheil, marketing manager at ANS Group, said the storage and consolidation campaign that HDS ran for the integrator exceeded all expectations by generating 11 leads.
“Normally a campaign is very time consuming. However, HDS did everything, which was the beauty of it. It was spot on every time and took the pressure off me and my team,” she said.
Each different campaign topic contains telemarketing scripts, direct mail templates, email templates, posters, web banners and event kits.
Semar Majid, UK marketing manager at HDS, said: “It has been trialled with three partners and has had positive results so far. We are starting with another four partners as we speak.”
