PC builder pushes ahead with UK expansion

Kriss Pomroy: Our showrooms are like high-end fashion boutiques

PC builder Novatech is poised to open a fourth retail outlet in Cardiff as part of its slow and steady consumer expansion drive.

The 15,000sqft store in the city’s main business park is being shop-fitted and is due to open in November. Its other outlets are in Portsmouth, Portishead and Reading.

Commercial director Kriss Pomroy confirmed plans to continue building out the Portsmouth-based notebook and desktop builder’s retail empire in the south before slowly migrating further afield.

“Gartner data shows us our customer repeat purchases are far ahead of the industry average.

“We sell support services and education rather than taking a stack-them-high approach, and our showrooms are like high-end fashion boutiques in design,” he said.
