Phoenix rises from Vistorm

Security VAR Vistorm has partnered with Phoenix IT Services

Security VAR Vistorm has partnered with Phoenix IT Services to market its managed internet security services through the firm’s Trend Channel Programme.

Under the terms of the deal, Vistorm will join the programme as a tier-one partner, the highest of three tiers, and has agreed to generate at least £500,000 of sales through pure security services each year.

Rob Norris, director of support and managed services at Vistorm, said: “We are taking advantage of the programme to expand our services into a much wider portfolio that will encompass network and appliance support.”

Paul Salliss, channel sales director at Phoenix, said: “This two-way benefit is what the programme was set up to do. Vistorm is one of the largest security VARs in the UK and it will now sit in our channel programme to get high-quality daily support.”

The deal also includes the sale of Vistorm’s internally developed security software offerings through Phoenix’s sales network.
