Anti-virus vendor welcomes distributor as part of UK expansion

Anti-virus vendor Kaspersky Labs has signed Enta Technologies as an official distributor to bolster its UK expansion plans.

The vendor, which celebrates its 10th birthday this year, has already gained market share in Russia, China, Germany and France, but is keen to push further into the UK market, with a particular focus on independent retailers.

John Atherton, group vice president at Enta, said: 'We are confident that we can grow the breadth
of Kaspersky in the UK and are delighted to have the opportunity.'

Simon Geach, UK and Ireland sales director at Kaspersky, said the partnership is an 'attractive joint proposition' and that the vendor is pleased to have Enta on board.
