Corbelli leaves SurfControl

Marketing director leaves security vendor in 'amicable' split

Martino Corbelli has left email filtering vendor SurfControl in what the firm claimed is an amicable split.

Corbelli, who was director of marketing at the vendor, has been replaced by Russell Chadwick, who will head up marketing in the UK.

Earlier this year SurfControl saw changes at the very top with existing chief executive Steve Purdham moving to the chief technology officer’s role, and Patricia Sueltz taking over the chief executive mantle.

A SurfControl representative told CRN: “Obviously when a new chief executive comes in they will look at the business, but this has been a straightforward changeover between Martino and Russell.”

Chris Durnan, chief executive of VAR Peapod, said: “Martino was there for a long time and it was probably a good time for him to move on as new management comes on board.

“Russell has quite a job ahead of him as the web filtering marketplace is very aggressive.”
