C2000 announces flurry of new appointments

The broadliner shuffles management roles to strengthen its specialist business unit approach

Computer 2000 (C2000), the UK arm of Tech Data, has made a number of key appointments to bolster its specialist business unit strategy and drive growth.

Kevin Wragg, formerly head of the peripherals business unit, has been appointed to the newly created role of FBU operations manager. His role will include implementing a training and induction programme for all volume marketing staff to help sharpen their sales skills.

Fiona Cooke has been made general manager marketing. Cooke has worked in C2000's marketing division for over five years and played a key role in developing its specialist in-house marketing services operation TDAgency, and also its lead-generation programme Clic2Channel.

Finally, Eddie Moore has bee made head of the components business unit. Moore joined C2000 as mass storage business manager and had previously worked as ain independent consultant and at rival distributor Bell Microproducts in various senior roles.
