IPStor is a hit with Plymouth

Christie lands government deal

IPlymouth Healthcare Community has saved up to £100,000 by deploying a FalconStor IPStor, implemented by VAR Christie Data Products.
Plymouth Healthcare required a storage solution for its 18TB datacentre, comprising 120 virtual machines and 14 servers.
The IPStor provides the health trust with protection against data disruption, enables it to cope with data growth and means it can cost-effectively re-use storage capacity through tiered storage.
Rob Harder, ICT infrastructure manager for Plymouth ICT Shared Service, said: “As with our virtual server infrastructure, we have be-come fully reliant on the flexibility and capability that the IPStor platform delivers.”
John Woolley, sales manager at Christie, said: “The IPStor platform provided the flexibility for the community to sort out its storage and data protection challenges.”
