Dimension Data expands Cisco services partnership
Alliance broadened to include Europe, Asia and Australia
Dimension Data is to expand the geographical reach of its global services alliance with Cisco to include Europe, Asia and Australia.
The alliance provides joint customers with a portfolio of integrated IT professional and managed services and a single point of ownership to reduce the complexities of multi-vendor contracts for enterprises.
Scott Petty, group executive services at Dimension Data said: “The Cisco and Dimension Data Global Services Alliance offers clients an increased breadth of services through the combination of Cisco technology and innovation with our own customer-aligned service delivery capabilities and global footprint.
“Global corporations are turning to specialist IT infrastructure services providers to gain agility and flexibility in addressing their technology and business challenges.”
Karl Meulema, vice president Cisco Services said: “The services alliance agreement with Dimension Data enables us to provide customers with a consistent level of IT infrastructure support across their network lifecycle. Customers will quickly realise the benefits of the integration of Cisco services with Dimension Data’s IT infrastructure management services and support via its global service centers.
“Together the companies will create end-to-end network-enabled capabilities that will help customers drive business value.”
