Distributor Enta Technologies has taken its partnership with Netgear to the next stage by securing a direct relationship with the networking vendor.
Enta has been an indirect partner of Netgear for the last five years, but the new direct partnership will see it offer a more complete range of the vendor’s consumer and SME portfolios.
This will include broadband routers, storage, unmanaged and managed switches, Powerline and firewall security products.
Jon Atherton, group vice president for commercial of Enta Technologies, said: “It is exciting to be in a position where you have first access to new products and have control over the stock you are selling, particularly with popular products.
“We have an excellent relationship with Netgear and this has been a strong factor in encouraging us to take the next steps in becoming a direct partner.”
Enta joins the likes of Ingram Micro, Micro Peripherals, Computer 2000 and Dixons as a direct partner.
Mark Power, managing director of Netgear UK and Ireland, said: “Having already worked so well with Enta, it made sense to take this relationship to the next stage.
“We are confident that this partnership will have a significant impact on future of the business by helping us maintain our existing customer relationships and target new customer opportunities.”
