Alcatel-Lucent acquires NetDevices
Networking vendor snaps up privately held services gateway firm for undisclosed sum
Alcatel-Lucent has announced a definitive agreement to acquire privately held services gateway specialist NetDevices for an undisclosed sum.
The transaction is subject to certain standard closing conditions including regulatory approvals, and is expected to close in the second quarter of Alcatel-Lucent’s fiscal year 2007.
Once the acquisition is closed, the NetDevices team and products will be integrated into Alcatel-Lucent’s Enteprise Business Group.
