Perspective changes view

Project management software vendor Perspective Solutions is looking to increase its UK reseller base.

David Heaps, director of market development at Perspective, said: “Last year we built ourselves up using direct sales and online advertising, but we decided an indirect channel was a better route. The reseller route has more potential for us.''

“We want resellers with an industry specification such as media marketing or healthcare. We want one or two in 2005, and two to four within the first half of 2006 with a reach outside of the UK.”

Heaps identified three potential partner types: ‘pure’ VARS offering business services, firms with a vertical focus and consultancy businesses.

Perspective established its first channel partnership last year with kpi-insight. Yuwan Effenci managing director of kpi, welcomed Perspective’s channel push.

“We are a consultancy firm with a management system, but we are missing the reporting tools, and that is what Perspective offers us. The more partners it has the better,” he said.
