Vendor appoints EMEA sales boss for EU expansion
Encryption software vendor BeCrypt is gearing up for a European push and has appointed an EMEA sales director to spearhead its growth plans.
Richard Brooks, who has worked in the firm’s sales department for three years, said the channel has a crucial role to play in BeCrypt’s future.
“We have always had a 100 per cent channel strategy and that is paying dividends because our partners have helped us get our name on the map,” he said. “We decided to stick with the channel from day one and that has helped us grow much quicker.”
Brooks said the firm has seen particular success in the public sector, particularly the Ministry of Defence and local government.
“In the UK we have a pretty well established partner channel, but there is always the need to add new ones,” Brooks said. “We are also working with Sigma to reach all of its resellers.”
