Technical audiovisual and digital signage distributor True Colours has set up a service and maintenance division to help its resellers.
Iain Campbell, sales and marketing director at True Colours, said it had always offered comprehensive pre- and post-sales support.
“We have kicked off [the new service] by offering True Support on our dZine and Dexon product lines, as they are sold into critical areas such as digital signage and command and control environments, but we will be rolling the service out across other product lines in the coming months,” he said.
The new division is led by business support manager Martin Chambers and will offer online remote engineer support for registered VARs, integrators and other channel partners.
Chambers said he had noticed rising demand for support of the types of products True Colours offers.
“It can be an enormous burden on system integrators to deliver the level of support that is often demanded by the client, and it is not always available from the manufacturer,” Chambers said.
