Meko flags potential displays coverage expansion

Analyst makes new hire in bid to further develop services offering to vendors and VARs

Displays analyst Meko has appointed Martin Wallman from IBM as director of business development with a view to expanding its coverage of the monitor and TV markets.

According to Meko, Wallman has extensive sales and business development experience around electronics and IT.

“One of his first tasks will be to roll out the new MekoQlik service, which aims to add unprecedented depth to the data currently available for the monitor and TV markets,” the company said in a statement.

“His role is to manage all the sales and business development activities, developing further the current business but also investigating and developing new areas both in terms of the client base and the product and service offerings.”
