Weatherproof enclosures for plasma, LCD and LED screens target digital signage market

Screens located outdoors often need additional protection from the elements

Midwich has signed up to distribute protective enclosures for displays and TVs from UK manufacturer Armagard.

Kane Barker, product manager at Midwich, said Armagard offered 24in to 70in commercial plasma, LCD and LED display as well as consumer television enclosures.

“Armagard is a low-cost solution that will protect displays from extreme weather conditions, dust and high temperatures, and gives dealers the flexibility to use the display of their choice,” said Barker.

Mark Neal, managing director at Armagard, said its products are aimed at protecting customers’ digital signage investments.
