Synaxon boosts services with direct debit deal
Channel organisation looks to ease members' cash flow with London and Zurich partnership
Flowing freely: Synaxon's partnership with London and Zurich offers VARs a direct debit option for the first time
Synaxon has joined forces with facilities management firm London and Zurich (L&Z) to offer its reseller members access to a web-based, paperless direct debit system.
The new service will allow payments to be collected quickly and easily from customers directly into the reseller’s bank account, which Synaxon claims will speed up cash flow and enhance business efficiency, particularly for VARs that accept monthly payments from their customers.
Once set up, the service is completely automated. Direct debit payments can be set up over the phone and fee changes applied without a further mandate, enabling resellers to account for the impending VAT rise in January. Resellers will also have full visibility of any amendments made by customers including cancellations, and access to detailed management reporting.
Full training will be provided to Synaxon members that sign up to the service. To make the deal even more attractive to its members, Synaxon has negotiated a discounted rate for the service and there is also a chance to earn a commission when customers sign up to the service.
Derek Jones, managing director of Synaxon, said: “This is yet another service that enhances the value of being a Synaxon member for resellers and dealers. Most of our partners don’t have the time or processes in place to manage direct debit payments themselves.
“Our agreement with L&Z makes it very easy for them to offer this option to their customers and helps them to streamline their cash flow, get bills paid on time and cut down on admin costs.”
Chris Barnes, sales director at L&Z said: “Direct debit is proven to be the most effective way a business can collect money. They are cheaper, faster and fully controlled, cut down on administration and enable companies to make better use of their resources. We’re going to work closely with Synaxon to help its members understand how they can make use of our services to enhance their customer service, efficiency and profitability."
