Gateway appoints Microtronica for server and storage line-up

Duo look to set up network of UK resellers after inking server and storage agreement

Close ties: Gateway has bestowed server and storage distribution rights on Microtronica

Gateway has appointed distributor Microtronica to carry its server and storage portfolio in the UK and Ireland.

The Acer-owned company has been on the look-out for new UK distributors since March, when it revealed ambitions to build a 10 per cent share in the global server market by 2011.

Gateway said that, together with Microtronica, it is setting up a network of sales partners through which it will offer vertical solutions aimed at midmarket customers.
