Welcome to the new-look ChannelWeb

We take the wraps off our brand new site today

It has been nearly a year in the planning but we can finally reveal our new-look web site.

The aim of the site is for it to be even more interactive and to draw our readers in for longer.

News as ever takes pride of place on the site, but to reflect the importance of people we have launched Industry Voice (which is called comment in the print version of CRN) - a chance for the industry to write their views on key issues.

The events section is also more prominent - CRN has a growing portfolio of events throughout the year and it is important that they are properly highlighted on the homepage so more of our readers can take advantage of them.

Our comment section has also become more visible - we are aiming to be the mouthpiece of the industry and want people to comment on our stories as much as possible - all comments are welcome.

The poll has become even more interactive towards the bottom of the page, and you can see the results in real time rather than having to click through to another page to view the results.

For the first time, Readers' Lives has its own place on the homepage to provide some entertainment and lighter reading. We hope even more people will be encouraged to take part.

All the old favourites are still there, with features and analysis coming under the banner of In-depth and an updated video page with all the videos clearly laid out.

The A-list has its own landing page now as well - with the latest batch of A-listers coming to the site soon. Watch this space!

We have also introduced a middle column which will provide you with further reading suggestions and help you find related articles.

Finally we have a new blog - Views from the Channel - which we are hoping people will want to take over for a week and share their thoughts and views on all things channel related.

Please have a look round our site - get a good look and feel - hopefully you will find it an enjoyable experience and will want to come back soon.

We would really welcome your feedback - it is the culmination of a lot of hard work - and we hope you like it and are as pleased with it as we are.
