Finance house revamps comms in Allianz with 2e2
Integrator deploys voice, data and wireless technology at new London office of leading insurer
Integrator 2e2 has won a deal with the corporate insurance arm of financial services giant Allianz to install IP telephony and LAN technology at its new London digs.
Allianz Global Corporate and Speciality (AGCS) recently opened an office in Aldgate and tasked 2e2 with installing a brand new voice, LAN and wireless network. The Newbury-based VAR is providing its Vocal package, including ongoing managed services and full break-fix support.
AGCS staff can now make free internal international calls to the firm's 3,000 employees worldwide. The insurer will also now require fewer onsite IT staff and 2e2 claims having one supplier for all its comms needs will also reduce cost and complexity.
Tim Mather, head of service desk at AGCS, said: "We selected 2e2 because of their proven ability to deliver the complete solution and to meet all of our requirements; reducing the time spent onsite by IT staff was a key differentiator."
2e2 director Richard Ellis added: "We are delighted to be working with AGCS to deliver a complete end-to-end solution that will improve internal communication across their European office network and reduce costs.
"Centralisation is a key communications strategy being undertaken by many large enterprises; by adopting our Vocal IP-based offering, AGCS will reap the many benefits of a modernised infrastructure."
