Cohort to back up Tadasoft channel push
Network configuration vendor gets new distributor and boss
Network configuration vendor Tadasoft is gearing up for a reseller recruitment drive after appointing a new managing director and distributor.
Tadasoft was founded in 2004 and launched its first products in 2007. Since then it has amassed several reseller partners including 2e2, Caretower and Ultima.
Michael Bell joined this week as managing director following the departure of predecessor Spencer Starkey to Check Point, where has been united with fellow ex-2e2er Terry Greer King.
Bell stressed that Tadasoft now backs up devices from about 40 networking, security and storage vendors including Cisco, HP, Extreme Networks, Juniper and F5 Networks.
“Lots of products back up servers and PCs but there weren’t any products out there that backed up network devices, which is what we do,” said Bell.
“Any organisation where network uptime is of massive importance is looking at us.”
Tadasoft has worked with distributor Arrow ECS for two years but has recruited Cohort Technology to give it more focus.
“Cohort and VADition are among the new breed of VADs that go out and generate demand,” Bell said. “We are still in start-up mode and our plan is to push with Cohort in the new year to get more resellers on board.”
