LG opens up SuperSign distribution

Digital signage from LG now available to all resellers

LG is offering its digital signage product to all its VARs following an initial three months of exclusivity via distributor Medium.

Warren Lewis, sales director of LG, said that the bundle of displays, media player and software, dubbed SuperSign, is straightforward to deploy and suits smaller companies.

"We believe it will appeal particularly to small, commercial operations requiring simple, affordable but powerful digital display tools. And it represents a great opportunity for business partners to build customer loyalty and tap into incremental revenue streams," Lewis said.

"In today’s economy the challenges faced by SMBs are enormous, and [SMBs] frequently rely on support and solutions from smaller resellers."

SuperSign was launched in September via AV specialist Medium. LG believes that SMBs comprise the largest portion (31 per cent) of the potential digital signage market in Europe and seek easy-to-use offerings.
