Redstone welcomed into top tier of networking vendor's partner programme
VAR Redstone has joined the top tier of storage and networking vendor Brocade's Alliance Partner Network programme.
As an Elite partner, Redstone will have access to Brocade's entire unified networking product portfolio, as well as a range of sales and marketing tools to help drive sales of the vendor's wares.
To achieve Elite partner status, the VAR's technical staff had to undergo training and get certified in Brocade's networking portfolio.
Tony Weaver, chief executive of Redstone, said Brocade's products are a perfect fit with its existing product set and market focus.
He said: "We believe this partnership reinforces our intention to offer innovative technologies that integrate with existing infrastructure, while delivering significant benefits in terms of cost, performance and reliability."
Andy Weedon, UK channel manager at Brocade, said the partnership will make it easier for end users to embrace virtualisation.
He said: "This partnership will enable our customers to leverage their extensive data centre networking, enterprise IP networking product expertise and solution support to help enhance their IT architectures and embrace the virtualised data centre."
