Tufin targets direct touch push

Firewall management vendor will plough more resource into demand generation in the UK

Fast-growing firewall management vendor Tufin's new UK boss is planning a direct-touch push next year.

Israel-based Tufin was recently ranked as Europe's tenth fastest-growing tech firm by Deloitte, after its sales shot up by over 5,000 per cent over the last five years. Key UK partners include AT&T, Verizon, BT, Integralis and Vistorm.

Former Check Point executive Rob Civil recently replaced the retired David Aminzade as regional director UK and Ireland. He said: "David built a great foundation for us in the UK and we have some very loyal partners.

"We are aiming to do much more direct touch with Fortune 500 firms and larger telcos and MSPs and dovetail that with our 100 per cent channel strategy."

Civil listed Firemon and Algosec as key competitors. "But I feel we are much more serious about investing to grow in the UK," he added.
