Reseller agreement expands Kofax availability

Document management apps vendor Kofax has added Reading consultancy Logica into its global partner programme at Platinum VAR level.

Paul Joosten, business consultant at Logica, said capability, scale and a partner-centric approach are its criteria when selecting new vendors to work with.

“Kofax has proven products and outstanding people,” he said.

Alan Kerr, executive vice president of field operations at Kofax, said: “Logica is a trusted global provider, and this alliance gives us the opportunity to further develop opportunities throughout EMEA in key sectors including government, banking and energy.”

Logica most recently announced that it has been awarded a £7.4m, five-year contract to upgrade the business support processes at Nottinghamshire County Council.

Logica will deploy a range of cost-saving internal shared services for the council, expected to go live in October 2011, using SAP ERP for support functions including HR, payroll, finance and procurement.
