Steljes adds Hitachi Digital Media projectors

Hitachi business projectors aiming at market leadership

Distributor Steljes has signed a distribution deal with Hitachi Digital Media to hawk its business projectors.

Martine Dodwell-Bennett, group sales and business development director at Steljes, said the Hitachi range complements its existing portfolio of brands including BenQ, Epson, NEC and Smart.

"This means that we have the strongest projector range to offer our partners," she claimed.

Ioan Williams, UK B2B sales manager at Hitachi Digital Media, said the vendor is eyeing the number-one LCD projector spot in the UK market.

"To achieve this, we needed to make some changes," Williams said. "Steljes has demonstrated considerable growth within the UK projector market through a strong sales team and innovative reseller marketing activities."

Williams expects Steljes to bring the incremental business that Hitachi is looking for in the UK as the vendor launches a new ultra-short throw range.
