Nimans sees leasing leap

Distributor plans a series of training sessions after takeup rockets by 100 per cent in a year

Nimans has heralded the rise in takeup of its leasing service from its reseller base.

The distributor claims it has seen a 100 per cent increase in the number of resellers taking advantage of its leasing capabilities, with interest growing on a daily basis.

Gail Fitton, financial services manager at Nimans, said: “As well as unlocking new sales opportunities, increasing numbers of dealers are funding their own demo suites and financing hosted telephony solutions.”

Nimans is planning to run nationwide leasing masterclasses throughout 2011 to help resellers take full advantage of leasing with their customers.

Based on a theme of ‘solution selling made simple’, resellers will learn about the skills to succeed in a financial environment with senior-level decision makers.

“The last thing a reseller wants is to invest a lot of time and effort in convincing a customer to upgrade their telecoms equipment, only for the deal to turn sour due to financial reasons," added Fitton.

“At Nimans we have a proven fast-track route to success based on very high acceptance rates of around 82 per cent. We can offer finance for any type of purchase, whether it be for vehicles, office equipment or CCTV equipment.”
