AVM launches strategic advisory division
Visual comms integrator increases focus on business benefits
Integrator Audio Visual Machines (AVM) has opened a new division to offer strategic advisory services worldwide.
The division, dubbed AVM Vision, will focus on business process reengineering, return on investment analysis, use and adoption programmes, and training.
AVM Vision will be headed by former Magor Communications EMEA managing director, John Masters.
Edward Cook, chief executive at AVM, said Masters had been delivering business benefits through the best use of technology for over a decade.
"He has considerable experience of helping companies to maximise efficiency and productivity. AVM Vision’s purpose is to ensure our clients receive the maximum possible returns on their investments in visual communications," said Cook.
At Magor, a telecollaboration systems vendor, Masters helped investigate the potential impact of next-generation visual communications on business processes.
Before Mago, Masters was a venture capitalist at Japan-headquartered investment bank Nomura, with responsibilities for managing Nomura’s portfolio of communications-related investments in north America, Israel and Europe.
