OKI unveils new sales director

Former Konica Minolta head Nick Munton tasked with growing print vendor's managed print business

OKI Printing Solutions has tasked new sales director Nick Munton with expanding its managed print service (MPS) strategy.

Munton, who succeeds Bill Allan, joins the print vendor from rival Konica Minolta, where he ran commercial sales. Before that he was a regional director at Toshiba.

OKI recently expanded its MPS offering by launching a programme called Print Optimizer and signalled that MPS would be a focus area for Munton alongside building relationships with executive series (ES) dealers.

“My key priority is to go to the market with a world-class MPS and corporate proposition, which we shall be working hard to develop and deliver through our reseller partners,” said Munton.

Phil Scrase, UK managing director at OKI Printing Solutions, said: “I am confident that Nick’s experience and expertise in business development and winning new clients will help us to build further on our recent momentum and drive competitive edge.”
