Midwich restructures print team and adds broader skills
Brother and Kyocera specialists move up and two hires made outside IT
Midwich has promoted two product specialists and hired two more in a bid to grow sales and improve customer service.
Jamie Brothwell, print and imaging sales manager at Midwich, said in a statement: "We are investing in people to further improve the level of customer service and support.
"We have very ambitious growth aspirations and it is important that we have the resources to meet our plan without compromising our service levels."
The distributor has promoted Brother sales specialist Heidi Lucas to team leader for print, and Caroline Daly, a new hire, will be her second in command.
Lucas joined Midwich in September 2009. Daly hails from Norfolk mailing and fulfilment house Diss Promotional Services, where she was customer services team leader.
Kyocera specialist for print and managed print services (MPS) Darren Maxey has been promoted to Kodak external business development executive, where his role will be to grow sales of Kodak inkjet printers.
A mortgage advisor at the Royal Bank of Scotland, Chris Winsor, has joined Midwich as Maxey's replacement on the Kyocera account. Winsor was at RBS for three years.
