Former Wick Hill director enters Cryptzone

Grant Taylor joins Sweden-based endpoint security vendor

Wick Hill and Computer 2000 alumnus Grant Taylor has moved back into vendor land after taking a role at end-point security vendor Cryptzone.

Sweden-based Cryptzone has acquired a string of firms over the past year, including UK-based policy management vendor NETconsent in November.

In his role as vice president of UK and Ireland sales, Taylor has been tasked with building a channel for Cryptzone's IT security solutions including NETconsent and Appgate Security Server.

Taylor's varied career has included stints at vendors, distributors and resellers.

He served as Wick Hill's sales director for four years and before that managed Check Point's UK distribution channel. The former professional rugby player has also worked at Computer 2000 and VARs including, most recently, NTS.

Taylor said he believed Cryptzone would make waves this year.
