Anglia gets fruity at Portsmouth port

VAR completes ERP installation at Portsmouth-based fruit shipping company

Anglia Business Solutions has recently completed an installation of its Microsoft Dynamics-based LINKFresh enterprise resource planning (ERP) offering at a fruit shipping terminal in Portsmouth.

The deal with the Portsmouth Port Terminal Operators MMD, will allow the shipping company to streamline its processes and covers all aspects of the shipping, warehouse, transport, financial and administrative processes involved in the importation of fruit.

Anglia’s commercial director, Robert Frost, said: “The MMD solution ideally illustrates the business benefits of investing a fully integrated Microsoft-based ERP system. The technology being incorporated into the application has helped the MMD management team to transform the organisation using real-time information as a competitive aid."
