Cabletime launches partner programme

Digital video and HD TV vendor seeks to attract broader range of resellers

IPTV, digital video and HD specialist Cabletime has kicked off a partner programme meant to add resellers to its stable of audiovisual channel partners.

Announced at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) in Amsterdam this week, the programme targets resellers that have thought about getting into digital content delivery but not yet made the leap.

Nick Bradford, managing director of Cabletime, said IPTV opportunities are expanding massively across Europe at the moment.

"Over the next year we foresee a huge demand from customers for high-quality commercial IPTV applications, and we want to work with partners who can embrace and meet this demand," Bradford said.

Cabletime already works with a network of specialist audiovisual integrators but wants to extend its reach to the broader channel.

At ISE, Cabletime showed its MediaStar IP solution for digital media, TV and other audiovisual content which it says has already found favour with financial services, hospitality, leisure, government, manufacturing and retail customers.

It is offering dedicated design, deployment and sales training and support to resellers that join its programme.

Engineer-led sessions will offer practical advice on system design and installation, and help onsite with the first customer, according to Cabletime.

"A dedicated account manager will always be on hand to assist partners, and email support is provided on a 24-hour basis. In addition, resellers will benefit from access to marketing materials, advertising, press relations and exhibitions and will receive leads generated through Cabletime’s own marketing activities," the vendor said in a statement.
