Taking a positive approach with our partners

Rachel Rothwell, senior director, UK and Ireland, Zyxel Networks, explains why being shortlisted for the Channel Awards means a great deal – but partner loyalty and success matter even more

Zyxel Networks is extremely proud to be shortlisted for the Infrastructure and Storage Vendor of the Year award, and for the overall Vendor of the Year award in the 2024 CRN Channel Awards. To us, this is a vindication of the hard work all our people and partners have put in over the past year – and indeed, for many years before that.

For us it is also a clear indication that the approach we have taken – to product development cycles and the adoption of new technologies such as AI and machine learning, to sustainability and DE&I, and delivering personalised service, account management and support to our partners – is the right one.

Everyone in the channel knows the market has been challenging at times. On more than one occasion, customer confidence seemed to be returning, only to subside once again. But by working together, staying committed and steadfast, and being positive, we have come through those challenges.

Proud of our partners

We are also extremely proud of our partners for being relentlessly progressive and working hard to achieve their goals. For many the aim in this past year has been to establish themselves as real and viable MSPs. We have supported them in transitioning to a new business model, helping them to take the first steps with education on network management and security and advice on their strategic value proposition and how to take it out to their customers.

Finally, we’ve supported them in the actual delivery of services that generate regular monthly income. When that starts to happen, it invariably gives the partner a new-found confidence that this is now the clear way forward for their business. From there, they do not look back.

It's been quite a journey already and one that’s by no means completed – for us or for our partners. Our Nebula cloud is an important factor in our success and with the new AI and ML-driven features that have now been added to the platform, we’re giving partners new capabilities and enabling them to provide even better service and protection to their end-user customers.

More to come

There is much more to come. We will be making further use of AI to deliver even more benefits for our MSP partners and their customers and working on significant updates to our partner programme that will make working with Zyxel Networks even more attractive.

What our partners should also know is that we will continue to provide them with the unlimited and personal service and support that we know makes a real difference to them and which they value so much. We will not be diluting or changing that in any way. On the contrary, we will do everything we can to build on and enhance what we deliver to our partners.

This is really important as it’s what makes Zyxel Networks different. We are always there for our partners, always ready to go the extra mile when they need us to.

We are extremely proud to be recognised for being one of the best suppliers in the industry, but we will never take our partners or their business and their loyalty for granted. It is great to be recognised publicly, but much more important that our partners continue to get the very best experience when they work with Zyxel Networks.
