Foursys outmuscles Websense strongmen
Cambridgeshire-based VAR tops Websense's 2010 revenue league table
Foursys has claimed a David-and-Goliath-style victory after being crowned as Websense's top-selling UK and Ireland reseller last year.
Its £2m haul with the web filtering vendor [at end-user values] allowed it to beat off the likes of HP Information Security and Integralis.
This is despite the Cambridgeshire-based outfit having a total turnover of just £7m.
Managing director Paul Prior said Foursys' Websense end-user revenues had risen 30 per cent last year on the back of a number of major victories with healthcare and local government clients.
"Websense has SI partners such as BT, but we were its largest reseller partner last year," he said.
"We are a very focused reseller working closely with key vendors including Websense."
In a statement, Ross Baker Websense channel sales manager, said Foursys "richly deserved its place at the top".
"They have had great success in both private and public sector markets and grown their revenue by 17 per cent," he said.
