Nottingham-based MSP Air IT has hired Katherine Logan as CPO and Andy Moss as CFO to strengthen its company culture and operational efficiency.

Moss brings 31 years of experience in finance, starting his career as group financial controller at Caradon plc.

He stayed there four years before moving on to different financial leadership roles across various companies, such as group financial director at Elementis plc, director of finance at Uniq plc, managing director at Cable & Wireless, and finance director at Expotel.

A seasoned CFO, he held this title for the first time in 2011 when joining Medacs Healthcare, where he stayed for nearly three years before onboarding with Valldata at the same position.

In 2016, he became finance director at financial planning business Wren Sterling.

He worked at the company until 2024 when moving to Murgitroyd as CFO.

Moss’ appointment at Air IT marks his entry in the IT channel.

Logan, the VAR’s new CPO, started her career in human resources in 2007 as a trainee HR business partner at Southern Housing Group.

She then worked for Sainsbury’s where she stayed for over four years, assuming different roles such as HR business associate, graduate programme manager, and HR business partner.

She remained in the retail world when joining Tesco as senior HR partner, commercial food, before stepping up as head of HR.

After her maternity leave, she joined Deutsche Bank in 2019 as HR change consultant.

Within less than a year, she left for Harpenden Building Society to become head of people.

In 2021, she was hired at Go City as SVP of people (HRD) global, before evolving to CPO in 2022, marking her entry into the C-suite.

By joining Air IT, she also takes her first step into the IT channel.

“These strategic leadership appointments mark a pivotal moment in our growth journey,” said Barney Taylor, CEO of Air IT.

“As we continue to expand, our commitment to technology innovation, customer service and an exceptional workplace culture continues at pace.

“Our investment in AI and automation is reshaping the way we deliver managed services and with our new leaders now on board, we are poised to accelerate growth, enhance operational efficiency, and deliver exceptional value to our customers.

“It’s an exciting time to be at Air IT, as we look to lead the way in redefining what’s possible in the way we deliver managed IT and cybersecurity services to SMEs in the UK.”

Taylor became CEO of Air IT in December 2024, after being the head of Brighton-based VAR Focus Group for three years.
