ASM Technologies has opened its new North American office in Atlanta, Georgia, to boost its operations in the region.

The new location will aim to bring the distie closer to its clients to enable better collaboration, faster response times, and deeper relationships across the US.

ASM has also appointed Del Harris as US sales manager.

Harris brings more than a decade of experience in SaaS and B2B software sales, having worked at companies such as Veeam, Marketo, IronHouse Marketing Agency, and TSYS.

In his new role, he will aim to develop the distributor’s operations by enhancing its partnerships across North America.

“I’m thrilled to be joining ASM Technologies at such an exciting point in the company’s journey,” said Harris.

“The launch of our Atlanta office represents a real opportunity to deepen our connections across the US tech community and to bring ASM’s collaborative, customer-focused approach to new markets.”

Iain Tomkinson, CRO of ASM Technologies, added: “Establishing a presence in Atlanta allows us to be closer to our US-based partners and clients, providing the same level of expertise and responsiveness that ASM is known for worldwide.

“This strategic move reflects our dedication to supporting our customers wherever they operate.”

This announcement follows the opening of ASM’s Munich office two months ago, which the company intends to use as a central hub for collaboration across Germany and continental Europe.

“Our Munich team will be instrumental in shaping the next chapter of our European expansion,” explained Tomkinson at the time.

The organisation has also reportedly achieved double digit sales growth to £100m for the year ending 31 March, driven by consolidated and extended relationships with partners, as well as an increased focus on international markets.

This marked a return on a positive trend for the business, after its turnover decreased two per cent in the previous financial year, from £98.6m to £96.5m, dragged down by challenges faced by two of its customers.
