Assured Data Protection (ADP) has joined forces with Chicago-based technology services distributor (TSD) AVANT to enhance cyber resiliency technologies across the Americas.

For ADP, the strategic partnership strengthens its footprint in the American continent through the TSD model, providing Rubrik and Nutanix technologies as-a-service.

AVANT will be able to offer Rubrik’s backup and disaster recovery technology to customers for the first time with Nutanix technology also being available, depending on needs.

This alliance will give AVANT’s customers access to Rubrik Security Cloud as-a-service and Nutanix Disaster Recover as-a-service.

The Rubrik technology will aim to help companies achieve business resilience against cyberattacks, malicious insiders, and operational disruptions.

The Nutanix backup and disaster recovery solution requires no investment in facilities or hardware and operationalises Nutanix disaster recovery solutions, in an effort to provide protection to customers in over 70 countries worldwide.

“I’m excited [AVANT] have entered this strategic partnership with Assured, which will add an expansive opportunity for both companies to add a world class solution to AVANT’s clients,” said Vincent Gatti, channel chief of Americas at ADP.

“Strategic partnerships are an important component of Assured’s growth plans in the Americas and I look forward to seeing the results of this one.”

Drew Lydecker, co-founder and president of AVANT, added: “Partnering with Assured to help our end customers become more cyber resilient through leading-edge technologies delivered as a managed service enhances our global capabilities significantly.

“In effect, it helps us become an extension of clients’ IT teams.

“It also aligns with the mission of our trusted advisors, who educate customers on world class technologies that can meet their requirements.”

Within last year, ADP has doubled down on its operations in the Americas with its expansion in Latin America and the launch on a centre of excellence in Costa Rica in August 2024.

It also strengthened its presence further afield in South Africa through its collaboration with KHIPU Networks in July last year.

In October, the company went East thanks to its partnership with Dubai-based VAD Mindware.

The Leeds-based MSP has also enhanced its UK enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions operations this year by teaming up with Wavenet in January.
