BCN hires Jo Seymour as CFO
This represents the finance vet’s first role in the IT channel
Manchester-based MSP BCN has named Jo Seymour as its new CFO, bringing two decades of experience in financial leadership.
Seymour held her first finance director role at supplier of betting services to retail and online operators SIS Ltd in 2011.
She later assumed the same position at Warburtons and Speedy Services.
Since 2023, she served as CFO of British tech-led environmental consultancy Lucion Group.
This new appointment marks her entry in the IT channel.
“BCN’s dynamic leadership team and deep commitment to customer satisfaction make it a perfect fit for me,” said Seymour.
“I’ve always been drawn to fast-paced, service-led businesses, and BCN’s growth trajectory and investor backing present a compelling opportunity to contribute meaningfully.”
Rob Davies, CEO of BCN, added: “At BCN, we’re continuing to strengthen our executive team to support our growth and deliver exceptional service to our clients.
“[Seymour] brings a wealth of experience in financial strategy, and her insight and leadership will be instrumental as we scale our services and continue to innovate in the digital transformation, data, and AI space.”
This announcement follows a series of leadership changes made at BCN over the past year.
In March, the company hired Mike Sanderson as COO, who joined from technology and engineering consultancy BJSS.
In December, BCN promoted Eirini Katsampa, its customer continuity leader, to head of ERP.
Katsampa has since left the organisation to join Microsoft partner Dynavics Ltd.
In November last year, the MSP tapped Chris Henry from IT services provider ANS Group, who became its head of Azure Centre of Excellence (CoE).
That same month, Fraser Dear transitioned from head of business solutions to head of AI and data innovation.
As of today, BCN employs more than 400 people, around 250 of which are trained support staff and technical engineers, across its UK offices in Manchester, Leeds, Cheshire, Reading, and Belfast.
The MSP currently serves over 1,600 customers.
